Dressage and Show Horse
“When first impressions count!” Years of training Show Horse & Dressage preparation have given you a deep understanding of your horse. The health of your agile athlete is paramount if they are going to succeed in the highly competitive world of Dressage & Show Horses. Much of your time needs to be dedicated to training & with other daily commitments feeding your horse its complete dietry requirements is nearly impossible. In an ideal world you would feed your horse several small feeds a day. However with all other factors to consider, it is likely that you are only able to feed your horse once possibly twice per day (slug feeding). The automatic horse feeder is designed to feed your horse his optimum nutritional requirements with around the clock regular interval feedings, to help your champion reach peak performance.
Saving you time in feeding, for more time to ride.
The horse is naturally a grazing animal spending 75% of its day eating, its digestive system is not designed to disgest all of the nutrients from singularly large feeds. Small frequent feeds can help in particular with glycogen loading which improves the management of available energy stores. Not only does the automatic horse feeder improve your athletes physical health, it also improves your horses psychological stability which can often reflect in behavoural patterns. In a recent study conducted by KER Research behavour of horses being fed several small feeds a day have provided concrete evidence that horses are more psychologically stable than their limited feed counterparts. “Boredom & hunger are possible reasons for poor behavour in stabled horses.” (Gill, et. Al 2006) Some coman behavour problems found in horses are wind suck, crib bite, weave, and other behavours that can result from stomach ulcers.
Being the best, you know what your horse needs. So we work harder to ensure we meet the standards of the best in Dressage & Show Horses.
